Hey everyone! I was born in Saskatchewan, raised in Alberta, and have now been living in the community of Elkford here for 5 years. I am a hairstylist by trade, but have taken a step back from the industry to get back to what I always seem to gravitate towards, and that is working with the children of our future! I am a mother of four myself, and it seems like no matter what I do, I always end up back to working with kids! I have worked in private day homes on and off since I was 18, and have finally decided this is what I am meant to be doing. Right now I am a certified responsible adult, and will be working towards my ECEA and eventually my ECE. I absolutely love playing with children, helping them learn and grow and find their way through this crazy thing called life, and absolutely believe we get dirty when we play or we aren’t playing right! I am anxiously awaiting getting to meet many new faces here in town, and being a supportive adult in your children’s lives, being a part of the village it takes to raise the children!

I have a certificate in business administration from North Island College, my Dogwood Diploma and have completed the Responsible Adult Course through the BC Family Child Care Association. I have a wealth of experience in customer service as well as professional janitorial experience, and housekeeping I like to keep things clean, tidy, and organized!

I am 19. I have grown up in Elkford my whole life. I enjoy being outside in my free time hiking, swimming and quadding.
I am so excited about the opportunity I have been given to work at this daycare and thrilled to meet all the wonderful children, parents and coworkers I will get to work with.
